FALSD is a proud supporter of the Informed Voters Project, a project of the National Association of Women Judges.
Presiding Justice Judith McConnell of the Fourth District Court of Appeal and members of the California Informed Voters Project (IVP) invite you to join them for a training webinar on August 26th at 12:15 pm PST
Created by the National Association of Women Judges and chaired by California’s own Justice Joan Irion, the IVP provides educational resources to inform the public about the role of the courts, judicial accountability, judicial selection, evaluating judicial candidates, and the impact of politics and special interests on our courts.
Each state has its own committee and special toolkit of resources to assist in educating the public. Justice McConnell will lead the webinar and address the various resources and models highlighting the role of the courts and a fair and impartial judiciary. The session will last approximately 45 minutes. There is no cost to participate. All you need is access to your computer to view the PowerPoint and speakers to hear the audio presentation. We hope you can join us for this important session!
